Volunteers are the backbone of any sports event!

The Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2010 also relies on volunteers for a variety of jobs, before and on the Race Day.

Some of the key areas where volunteers help is required include:

• Race Pack distribution.
• Fruits and drinks distribution.
• Course marshals.
• Crowd Control at the Finish Line (to ensure smooth flow of runners at the finish line).
• Media Tent.
• Baggage Counter and collection and return of Runner's Event Day Bag.

Volunteers will help the Organiser to ensure that runners from across the world will have a great time in the city of Kuala Lumpur and experience the best of Malaysian hospitality.
