ADDITIONAL FULL AND HALF MARATHON SLOTS AVAILABLE!

Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2015 Ballot Application

We have been getting a lot of requests to open new slots and we are going to do exactly that. We have 200 Half Marathon slots and 500 Full Marathon slots available as of today. To be fair, qualification for entry will be by a ballot system. If you are keen to try for a slot at the Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2015, please submit your ballot application from now till 6.00pm on 6 August.

Your ballot application does not automatically guarantee you a running entry. Entries will be awarded at random by computer voting. Successful applicants will then be notified via email on 7 August with instructions on how to register.

Registrations must then be completed and submitted to the organiser by 15 August 2015.

Please note that this is for runners who have not yet registered for the Standard Chartered KL Marathon so if you or you have friends and family who missed out on registrations earlier, do submit your ballots.

Step by Step Guide on how to participate in the ballot can be found here.

Running Clinics

We hope everyone had a good Raya break and now that the festivities are coming to an end, it’s the perfect time to shed the excessive calories and get back on track with training for the Marathon!

Our Running Clinics will resume from 2 August 2015 onwards and participants will be treated with brewed coffee and bananas, courtesy of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia. Our apparel sponsor, adidas, will also offer free foot-scanning and proper footwear advice during the Clinics.

Run For A Cause

Every year, the Standard Chartered KL Marathon is taking a step forward to become a true community event and helping the less fortunate through our Run For A Cause (RFAC) programme.

If you are interested in raising funds for one of our official beneficiaries, you can do so by donating through our RFAC runners’ profile here.

For companies who would like to compete while raising money for the official beneficiaries, you can do so by registering for the 10km Corporate Challenge. This 10 km race is open to Malaysian companies only and a minimum of 3 runners per team are required to compete.
