MY MOTIVATION
This year, I am taking on the Standard Chartered Marathon not just as a race, but as a personal challenge — a journey of heart and purpose. I run to honor the memory of my late father, who taught me the values of perseverance, integrity, and never giving up, no matter how tough the road ahead may seem.
Every step I take is a silent conversation with him, a way to prove that his lessons live on in me. This race symbolizes more than physical endurance; it’s about pushing past my limits, embracing challenges, and carrying forward his legacy of strength and resilience.
Though he is no longer here to cheer me on, I feel his spirit with me every mile. This run is my way of saying: “Dad, I’m still striving, still growing, and still making you proud.”
