MY MOTIVATION
Some people run to cross a finish line — I am running to help someone else find a new beginning.
Across our city, many face hunger, loneliness, and uncertainty. Yet even in the hardest moments, organisations like Kechara Soup Kitchen Society bring light — offering warm meals, compassion, and hope to those who need it most. Their work reminds me that no one is ever too lost to be helped, and no act of kindness is ever too small to matter.
This marathon is my way of carrying that hope forward.
When the run gets tough, I will think of the strength I’ve seen in the people KSK serves — individuals who rise each day despite the odds. Their courage inspires me to run with heart, not just with strength.
I run because I believe change begins with small steps.
I run because kindness multiplies.
I run for a future where no one is left behind — and everyone has a chance to rise again.
