MY MOTIVATION
Participating in the Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon is a personal challenge that demands discipline, resilience, and mental strength. This year, I want my run to carry a deeper purpose — to transform every kilometre into meaningful support for Hospis Malaysia.
Hospis Malaysia’s commitment to providing free palliative care ensures that patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses receive dignity, comfort, and compassion regardless of financial circumstances. I deeply respect the holistic care provided — not just medical support, but emotional and psychological care for both patients and their loved ones during their most vulnerable moments.
Running 21km requires endurance and determination, but it is nothing compared to the daily battles faced by patients under palliative care. By fundraising through KLSCM, I hope to channel my training, time, and effort into raising awareness and funds that will help sustain these essential services.
