MY MOTIVATION
Every day, cancer patients and their families show extraordinary courage in the face of uncertainty, fear and pain and yet they continue to move forward with strength and bravery.
Cancer has scarred my family, losing both family members and close friends to this disease and living through the heartbreak. My dad being a cancer survivor and his journey has shown me what strength, courage and resilience truly looks like.
Hospis Malaysia is not just about medicine/treatment but also about dignity, comfort and compassion, ensuring that no one faces their most vulnerable moments alone. They support not only patients but also the families who stand beside them.
Every km I take is in memory of those we have lost, in honor of those still fighting and in gratitude for the care that makes difficult journeys a little more bearable. This run is my small act of courage, inspired by the immense bravery of others.
Together, let’s make a difference - turn fear into strength and kilometers into care.
