MY MOTIVATION
As a medical doctor who serves in the field of Critical Care, treating the critically ill and facing life and death, is not something unusual to me. When death is inevitable, the centre of care should be focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life at any stage of illness.
It recognises that even when a cure is uncertain, compassion is always possible. In moments when time feels fragile, palliative care helps people live—not just longer, but better.
This year, I am running to support Hospis Malaysia, with the hope that I can do more out of my daily duties to help Hospis Malaysia expand their services to those in need.
