MY MOTIVATION
I am running in support of Hospis Malaysia to help raise awareness and support for palliative care in our community. Through my work and daily interactions with retirees and older adults, I have come to realise that many people still feel uncomfortable talking about end-of-life care and the importance of dignity during serious illness.
Palliative care is not just about medical treatment — it is about compassion, comfort, and ensuring that patients and their families receive the support they need during some of the most difficult moments in life.
Running has always been a personal challenge for me, and through this run I hope to turn that challenge into something meaningful. By supporting Hospis Malaysia, we can help ensure that more patients receive the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve.
Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in supporting this important cause.
