MY MOTIVATION
To be honest, training for a marathon is hard. There are days when my legs are heavy and my breath is short. But lately, my perspective has shifted. I’ve realized that the ability to run, to move freely, to breathe deeply, and to push my body is a profound gift. It is a gift that many of the patients under the care of Hospis Malaysia might not have. Hospis Malaysia provides professional palliative care to those facing life-limiting illnesses. As such, I am dedicating each kilometer of my run to the spirit of resilience. I am running because I can, and I am fundraising so that Hospis Malaysia can continue to provide their services at zero cost to those in need.
