MY MOTIVATION
In 2022, my world changed when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.
As a husband, you feel helpless. You sit beside her during treatments, watch her fight through the side effects, and pray for strength every day.
But I also witnessed something incredible. Even during treatment, she put on her running shoes and kept moving forward, choosing courage over fear and turning pain into purpose.
Today, she runs as a survivor. And when I run RFAR, I run as a grateful husband.
We support Hospis Malaysia because cancer affects not just the patient, but the entire family. Their compassionate care brings comfort, dignity, and support to those who need it most.
Not every family gets the second chance we had. Through this run, I hope to give back and support families who are still fighting.
As a husband, I could not fight the illness for her — but today, I can run for a reason.
