MY MOTIVATION
My name is Evan Lau, and I am with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). As an academic deeply committed to inclusive development and capacity building, I firmly believe that education is the most powerful weapon to change the world. It transforms lives, uplifts communities, and creates pathways of opportunity for future generations. I run for Teach For Malaysia because I strongly believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of background or geography. Through this run, I hope to contribute in a meaningful way to expanding educational opportunities for underserved communities across Malaysia. Beyond the fundraising goal, this effort reflects my personal commitment to empowering the next generation through education, resilience and opportunity for sustainable future
