MY MOTIVATION
Before last October, I had never even heard of HOSPIS Malaysia. That changed instantly when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. It was a time of immense sadness and uncertainty for our family as we struggled to understand how to care for her at home.
HOSPIS came to us just in time. They provided the guidance we desperately needed, showing us that at her age, comfort and quality of life are what matter most. Our nurse, Rachel, has been amazing—always patient and quick to call us back when we are in a panic. These human moments have made this incredibly hard season feel much more manageable.
I am joining as a 5km runner to honor my grandma while she is still with us. I truly believe that even a little can make a great change. Because HOSPIS provides their palliative care free of charge, your donations help ensure more Malaysian families don't have to face these difficult times alone.
