MY MOTIVATION
As a former Teach For America corps member and now a teacher at the British International School of Kuala Lumpur, I've seen firsthand the power that education can have in shaping young people's lives. My students inspire me every day through their ability to rise to challenges (especially those outside of their comfort zones) with positivity, humour, and grit. I hope to bring those same qualities to my own race, and I’m honoured to be running in support of an incredible organisation doing such vital work here in Malaysia.
