MY MOTIVATION
I'm running this half marathon for every child in Malaysia. I believe that no matter your socioeconomic background, no matter where you are born — whether you're in the heart of the city or in the most remote corner of the country — you deserve access to quality education so that you can realize your full potential.
This run is dedicated to the teachers and Teach For Malaysia Fellows who show up every single day for their students — those who have chosen the path less taken, who dedicate their lives to teaching despite limited resources, and who still pour their whole heart into every single student. Your dedication to contributing to society in one of the most meaningful ways possible is seen.
Every step I take on race day carries the weight of that belief, where no child should be left behind, and teachers should be acknowledged and celebrated for the important work that they do!
