KLSCM 2026 Registration Transfer Marketplace opens from 10:00 AM on 14 August 2026 until 11:59 PM on 14 September 2026.

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE KLSCM 2026 REGISTRATION TRANSFER MARKETPLACE

General

1. The KLSCM 2026 Registration Transfer Marketplace (hereinafter referred to as “Marketplace”) is a platform that allows the transfer of race entries between a registered participant of the Event (the “Seller”) and a new participant who would like to register for the Event (the “Buyer”).
2. Registration transfers are only available for confirmed participants in the Individual category, including Kids Dash and Foreign Residents, and are meant for participants who are either indisposed or unable to participate on Race Day.
3. Participants in the following categories are not allowed to transfer their race entries:
   1. Run For A Reason (RFAR)
   2. Corporate Challenge
   3. Standard Chartered Bank Staff
   4. Sponsored Entries
   5. Other registrations using PIN codes
   6. Those who have purchased the Mailing Option for their Race Entry Pack
4. A Seller's race entry can be transferred to a Buyer within the same:
   1. Distance Category (i.e., Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, 2km, 800m)
   2. Race Category (i.e., Youngster, Open, Veteran, Malaysian, Malaysian Veteran)
   3. Sub Category (i.e., Speed, Cruise, Leisure, Fun Run)
   4. Start Pen
   5. Gender
   6. Size and Type of Running Apparel
   7. Finisher T-Shirt Size (for Full Marathon only)
5. Changes in the Distance Category, Race Category, Sub Category, Bib Number, Start Pen, Gender, Size and Type of Running Apparel, and Finisher T-Shirt Size are not allowed.
6. Sellers agree that their Full Name and registration details, including but not limited to, the Distance Category, Race Category, Sub Category, Bib Number, Start Pen, Gender, High Performance Option and Status, Drawstring Bag Option, Size and Type of Running Apparel, and Finisher T-Shirt Size will be made visible on the Marketplace.
7. Seller’s Full Name and other information on the running bib including but not limited to the Bib Number, Start Pen, Finisher T-Shirt Size, Emergency Contact Details, Medical Conditions, Allergies and Blood Type shall remain unchanged, and will be visible to the Buyer.
8. All transaction terms are solely between the Seller and Buyer and payment to be made offline from the Marketplace.
9. Race entries must not be sold for any amount higher than the actual amount paid by the Sellers as indicated on their listing.
10. If the selling price charged by the Seller is higher than the amount displayed on their listing, the Buyer is advised to report the Seller to the Organiser at [email protected] immediately.
11. Upon successful completion of the transfer, the registration of the Seller will be automatically voided, and they will no longer be able to participate in the KLSCM 2026.
12. A Seller who has successfully transferred their race entry to a Buyer, may re-register as a new participant by transferring a race entry from another Seller to them. Upon successful completion of the transfer, they will be counted as a registered participant and will be able to participate in the KLSCM 2026.
13. Registrations may be transferred only once. Buyers who obtained a race entry through the Marketplace will not be able to re-transfer or re-list their entries on the Marketplace page.
14. Swapping race entries between registered participants are allowed and subject to these Rules and Regulations.
15. The names of the Buyers in the Full Marathon category will not be visible on the Full Marathon Wall of Fame.
16. The Marketplace shall be made available from now until 10 September 2026. All transfers must be completed by 11:59 pm on 10 September 2026, failing which, the race entries shall remain the property of the Sellers.
17. All other Rules and Regulations of the KLSCM 2026 apply.

Merchandise, VIP Package, and SuperCover Protection Plan

18. The add-on purchases including but not limited to the Merchandise, VIP Package, and SuperCover Protection Plan are strictly not transferable. In the event of a successful transfer, all add-ons shall be automatically voided without refund, except for the Merchandise which shall remain the property of the Seller.
19. There are no VIP Package and SuperCover Protection Plan available for purchase by the Buyer during registration transfer process.
20. Merchandise will be available for purchase by the Buyer during registration transfer process while the KLSCM 2026 Online Store is still open.

Mailing Option (Race Entry Pack Delivery)

21. Participant who selected “Yes” for the Mailing Option will not be eligible to any registration transfers as stipulated in rule no. 3 above
22. There is no Mailing Option avaible for purchase by the Buyer during registration transfer process.

Gear Bag Deposit Service

23. Seller who selected “Yes” for the Gear Bag option will have this option transferred to the Buyer as “Yes”, and vice versa.
24. There is no Gear Bag option available for purchase by the Buyer during registration transfer process.

Event Drawstring Bag

25. Seller who selected “Yes” for the Drawstring Bag option will have this option transferred to the Buyer as “Yes”, and vice versa.
26. The Buyer will not be able to change the Drawstring Bag option.

High Performance

27. Seller who selected “Yes” for High Performance will have this option transferred to the Buyer as “Yes”, and vice versa.
28. The High Performance status of the Seller is also transferred to the Buyer.
29. In the event of a successful transfer, where the High Performance option is “No” and the Buyer would like to race under High Performance, the Buyer will need to contact the Organiser via email at [email protected] by 1 September 2026. Buyer will be required to pay an additional fee of RM30 to the Organiser for approved application. 

Race Entry Packs

30. Race entry packs must be self-collected by the Buyer at the Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) venue during collection period as stated on the Official Website.
31. No replacement of race entry pack or running bib or any item in the pack will be provided by the Organiser under any circumstances for whatever reason.

Responsibilities

32. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to monitor and check the availability of their preferred category on the Marketplace.
33. The Seller is responsible for their own listing on the Marketplace.
34. The Seller is responsible in ensuring that they send the correct Transfer URL and Transfer PIN code to the correct Buyer and the Buyer is responsible in ensuring that they receive the Transfer URL and Transfer PIN code and complete their registration transfer in a timely manner.

Release and Indemnity

35. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and/or refuse entry to any participant without provision of reason and/or notice.
36. The Sellers and Buyers connect, negotiate and trade solely at their own risks.
37. Sellers and Buyers hereby agree to indemnify and hold the Organiser, Sponsors and Affiliates harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses and damages (actual and consequential) including legal costs both parties may incur arising out of, or in connection with the usage of the KLSCM 2026 Registration Transfer Marketplace.
38. By using the Marketplace, Sellers and Buyers are deemed to have read, understood and agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the KLSCM 2026 Registration Transfer Marketplace, the Rules and Regulations of the KLSCM 2026 and the Privacy Policy as set forth by the Organiser.
