MY MOTIVATION
As Interim CEO and CFO of Standard Chartered Malaysia, I spend much of my time thinking about the future. And as a parent of two young children, that future is deeply personal. I want them to grow up understanding that money is not simply about what we earn or spend, but about having choices, planning with confidence and building security for themselves and those around them.
Every young person deserves the same opportunity to develop these foundations, and that is why I am running for the Standard Chartered Foundation. The Foundation helps underserved young people gain the skills and confidence to build independent futures. This run is my commitment to their cause, to encourage more young people to believe in their potential and create lasting opportunities for themselves.
