In order to fill this void and galvanise the running community, we are excited to announce the introduction of the inaugural Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon 2020 Virtual Run (KLSCM 2020 VR) which will take place on 5 - 13 December 2020.
Together with Title Sponsor Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia, the KLSCM 2020 VR is set to become the premier virtual running event in Malaysia. With four distances comprising of Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km and 5km distances to choose from, you can decide to run as an individual or in a team (of 3) on either of the two days.
To enhance and track your run, we have developed an exclusive Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon Virtual Run App packed with exciting features which will be made available for free downloads from the App store and Google Play Store. Some of the key features of the app include a GPS-based activity tracker (with map display, distance, time and pace), individual and team leaderboard rankings, augmented reality face filter as well as the sharing of your activity to the Event feed, just to name a few.
To commemorate this inaugural virtual run, exclusively designed merchandise such as personalised medals, event tees, sports towels and face masks will be made available for purchase throughout the registration period.
